I am a game designer and developer from Taiwan with a passion for gameplay systems, puzzles, and player interactions. I believe games are informative and transformative, and I always seek positive impacts on the players. My designs are experience-oriented, and I convey ideas through the player experience.
I am a current master's student of Entertainment Technology at Carnegie Mellon University. I received my bachelor's degree in Digital Media Art and Software Engineering at Tsinghua University, Beijing. I previously worked as a game designer in Heluo Studio, focusing on Chinese fantasy turn-based strategy games.
What I do
I am experienced in various disciplines in game design, including systems, economy, puzzles, quests, levels, UX, etc. My skill set includes game design, including spreadsheets, documentation, playtesting, prototype, and iteration.
From working as a full-time game designer at Heluo Studio, and numerous game projects throughout my education, I got various experiences in conveying my ideas to my teams. Whether through a paper prototype to communicate with my colleagues, documentation with wireframes to show to the programmers and artists, or even Figma/Unity prototype to propose my ideas to bosses/teachers, interaction-oriented communications have brought successful teamwork.
